Popgroup45 is over! Thanks to all those who attended – we think it was a successful meeting. In all, 225 persons attended from the UK, Europe, North America and several other continents. It was particularly pleasing (and embarassing) to see that two Nottingham students (Paul Richards and Aliya El Nagar) won the best student talk and poster prizes, with Ceridwen Fraser winning best non-student talk (eminent snail person Professor Steve Jones was a close second).
Once again, we would like to thank our sponsors: The Genetics Society, Royal Society Publishing, Roberts and Company, Heredity, Nature Publishing Group, Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press. In particular, we thanks Heredity for their “How to Get Published in Heredity” special session.
There has been a meeting each year in December or January since the 1960s. If you have a meeting program not hosted here please contact us.
