Bath, January 7-10, 2014
A few great features of the Bath meeting PopGroup47@Bath are:
1. The Fisher Memorial Lecture. The Fisher Memorial Trust serves to promote interest in the life and work Sir Ronald Aylmer Fisher (1890-1962). This year, Bill Hill was given the honour, which we are hosting:
'Applying quantitative genetic and genomic information to animal improvement'

2. Our distinguished invited speakers. We are delighted to announce that Josephine Pemberton, Lilach Hadany, and Fyodor Kondrashov are our plenary speakers.

3. The venues for the conference.
-- An opening reception on the night of the Tuesday the 7th at the historic Roman Baths (kindly sponsored by the City of Bath).
-- Talks, Fisher Memorial Trust wine reception and conference banquet at Bath's historic Assembly Rooms.
-- Dinners will be open on Tuesday the 7th and Wednesday the 8th, which will allow delegates to explore the city.
4. The city of Bath. As our city is major tourist attraction and historical site, our plan is to run a city-style meeting. Delegates will have accommodation and breakfast in the city. You can book with one of our partner hotels offering discounts for PopGroup47 delegates, or make your own arrangements. Accompanying guests are welcome to the conference banquet (just click on the option when you register).
We look forward to seeing you at PopGroup47@Bath
